American Tower appreciates the relationships we maintain with the owners of the properties on which our communications sites are located. Rental revenue is an excellent source of supplemental income, and we are happy to work with property owners to help them meet their financial goals.

Building Owners

Commercial building owners are constantly looking for ways to increase the profitability of their properties and improve the wireless coverage and capacity in their areas. American Tower can help building owners and managers achieve both through our Telecom Marketing and Management Program.

This program provides new opportunities for telecommunications network development for our customers while creating an additional revenue stream for building owners. We handle the marketing of your property to our customers and manage any network development projects and associated leases.

Land Owners

Land Owners with an American Tower site currently on your property:

Please include the site number and name, along with your telephone number, on all correspondence. Note that your lease or management agreement may also require that formal notices be sent to additional addresses.

Address Changes:
To change your address for rent payments and other correspondence, a written request must be submitted with the signature of our landlord of record. Requests must be sent to the address listed above.

Ownership Changes:
If you have sold the land where one of our towers resides or have assigned your lease to another person or entity, you will need to provide a copy of the Recorded Deed documenting the transfer, or a legal assignment of the lease and any associated rent payments.

We will also need a W-9 form (link provided below) from the new owner so that we may obtain tax reporting information. Mail these documents to the address listed above or fax to 781-926-4555. Please provide the documentation as soon as it is available, by the 10th of the month preceding the rent due date at the latest.

If you are a landowner who is interested in selling your land or ground lease:
American Tower is interested in purchasing the lease or land that our wireless communications sites are located upon. Selling your lease or property to American Tower allows you to convert your structured rental payments into a lump sum of cash for your use or reinvestment. Remodel your home, save for college or retirement, pay off your mortgage or invest in your future. The choice is yours.

If you are a landowner who is interested in having a tower built on your property:
In general, American Tower does not consider inquiries or submittals for individual land parcels. The locations where we build new towers are primarily determined by the needs of our wireless carrier customers. As we evaluate site locations across the country, we will thoroughly research all available parcels and contact the respective owners for details on availability. If you'd like to submit information about your property to American Tower, please complete our online Land Information Form.

We will keep your information on file for future consideration and will contact you only if there is serious interest in utilizing your land.
