Structural Engineering

American Tower staffs a dedicated, in-house engineering team to make every collocation a safe and timely installation–leveraging site-specific knowledge and well-established engineering methods. Our team of 30 engineers collectively has more than 100 years of tower design and analysis experience and is licensed in all 50 states.

You can count on us to evaluate the structural capacity of existing sites in advance of new collocations. We provide Structural (PE) Letters, detailed Structural Analyses, RF Interference Analyses and other engineering services as needed. When towers require additional capacity to enable a collocation, we'll design the required modifications and turn them over to our internal project management team to ensure a smooth and quick installation.

American Tower also offers third party structural engineering services through our independent, Elkhorn, NE team—Semaan Engineering Solutions (SES). Our innovative and proprietary software provides third party customers with password-protected, secure remote access to all of their scanned drawings, structural analyses and project status 24/7.
