That’s what’s been going on recently at Daytona International Speedway, where this spring race fans finally got to watch a Daytona 500 in the newly designed seating areas, complete with new entry “injectors” and comfortable, wide concourses.
While the so-called “Daytona Rising” project was a visual hit for this year’s big race, behind the scenes the companies building and deploying the DAS have had a different challenge – keeping fans connected wirelessly throughout the long construction phases, a task that included multiple deployments and re-deployments of equipment as structures were torn down and replaced.”
